It’s easy to get caught up in life and think that buying this or that will make one happy. They might bring temporary joy or excitement. But, they do not bring an everlasting happiness. They will one day go the way of the earth. The only true happiness and joy one can continue to have is to drink from the fountains of living water that our Savior Jesus Christ so willingly offers and beckons us to partake of. The everlasting impression that the Holy Ghost can make upon one’s soul is so indescribable and incomparable to the falsities that this world wants us to believe we need. Have you ever felt so much joy and love springing forth from within that it brings tears to your eyes, kind of like how a good song or good movie makes you feel? Have you ever felt like you could accomplish anything? Have you ever felt so good that you felt you could just fly and none of your worries were even bothersome at the time? If it’s been awhile since you felt this way, maybe you should remember who you are, where you came from and the potential you have for greatness, even godliness.
